Please read the following booking conditions
carefully. These booking conditions will apply to all
bookings that you make through our website or reservations
team. They apply to all bookings made with Today We
Travel Limited and to all members of your party.
Today We Travel Limited is a member of the Travel Trust
Association [TTA] – TTA Membership Number U2997. This means
the money paid to Today We Travel Limited is protected and
held in trust by the TTA and in the unlikely event of us
becoming insolvent after you have made payment, all monies
will be returnable to you, or payable to the accommodation:
1.
Your Contract with Accommodation featured by Today We
Travel Limited
When you book accommodation,
we send you confirmation of the booking. It is at
the time we send this confirmation that a binding
contract comes into existence. The date of
the contract is the date that appears on the
confirmation. These booking conditions
form the basis of the contract. Once the
contract is made, Today We Travel Limited is responsible
to you to provide you with what you have booked and you
are responsible to pay for it, in each case subject to
these booking conditions, and any other terms and
conditions specific to the relevant accommodation.
Please note : It is important to check carefully the
details of your booking, when you receive it. If
you want to cancel or change your booking later, you may
have to pay amendment or cancellation charges [stated
below] which may be as much as the whole accommodation
costs. Today We Travel Limited, will send the
confirmation and other information to you, who will in
turn be responsible for ensuring that all members of the
party are kept fully informed. In parties or two
or more people, the lead name on the booking, accepts
responsibility for making all payments for all members
of the party. Should you wish to make an
amendment or cancellation to your booking, we must
receive confirmation by email or fax. If your
clients are aged under 18 on the date of departure and
their parents or guardians are not traveling with them,
they must write to us with their written consent.
2. Group
Bookings
Bookings comprising up to
5 rooms can be booked via our website.
If 6 or more rooms are required this must be done by
contacting Today We Travel by email
[sales@todaywetravel.co.uk] or by telephone / fax.
Hotel accommodation is offered strictly subject to
availability, Upon receipt of a written
instruction to proceed with reservation, Today We Travel
reserves the right to offer alternative hotels should
those quoted not be available or subject to an
unforeseen price increase. Rooming
list and final amendments should be advised in writing 5
weeks prior to the date of travel. Today We
Travel shall be entitled to reject single-sex or student
group bookings. It is the responsibility of the
agent to inform Today We ravel of the constitution of
the group and the purpose of its visit.
3.
Payments
When making a
booking less than 14 days prior to departure, payment is
required in full at the time of booking. When
making a booking more than 14 days prior to departure, a
deposit is required as follows:
Accommodation/Transfers
:
£25 deposit per
booking [non-refundable] with balance then due 14 days
prior to departure [payment must reach Today We Travel
Limited within 7 days of the date of the confirmation.
A small number of hotels and
apartments may incur a different level of deposit, but
this will be advised on the confirmation issued to you.
Villas and Private Homes :
As villas/private homes are
usually privately owned, a deposit of 25% is required per
booking [by the deposit due date shown on the confirmation] with
the balance then due 56 days prior to departure
[payment must reach Today We Travel Limited by the due
date and no reminders will be issued].
Incidental Extras :
Payment for incidental extras [e.g.
mini bars, telephone charges, etc.] has to be made directly
to the accommodation, when you check out.
Group Bookings :
For group
bookings [12 or more people on a single booking, or 6 or
more rooms] a deposit
of £10 per person will be required. [please see Section 2 -
Group Bookings]. The balance is then due 35 days prior
to the date of travel.
Please note : If the payment[s] are
not received by the due date[s], Today We Travel Limited, will be entitled to treat your
booking as cancelled by you. You will then lose your
deposit and may be liable to pay the cancellation charges
shown in clause 14. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or debit/credit card. There is
no charge for debit card payments, but payments by credit
card are surcharged at 3%.
4. Special Requests
If you have any special requests that
do not form part of the standard accommodation services
[such as dietary requirements, cots or room location],
please let Today We Travel Limited know at the time of
booking. All such requests will be passed to the
relevant accommodation, but unfortunately cannot guarantee
that they will be met. Furthermore, if the
accommodation is unable to meet any such requests, neither
Today We Travel Limited nor the accommodation will have
any liability to you in this respect.
5. Carriage
The responsibility for
transportation from the UK to the destination country
remains with the customer. If Today We Travel Limited is
requested to provide transfers in the final destination then
this will be at the cost indicated on the confirmation and
details of the transfer arrangements will be set out on the
accommodation voucher issued to the customer. Please note
that transfers are compulsory for any AOA bookings [see
clause 7].
6. Accommodation Details
We aim to
ensure that the information provided is
accurately conveyed on our website. Unfortunately changes
and errors occasionally occur. There may be small
differences between the actual accommodation and its
description. Certain facilities may require refurbishment
or maintenance eg swimming pools and amenities, or
activities can be cancelled or curtailed due to lack of
demand or inclement weather. Today We Travel Limited, will endeavour to
notify the customer of any building works / unavailability
prior to date of departure. However, this service cannot be
provided on late bookings or with “allocated on arrival”
bookings.

todaywetravel.com may contain links to other websites.
Except where they belong to Today We Travel Limited,
such other websites are not under our control or
maintained by us and we are not responsible for the
content of such websites. We provide these links
for their convenience only but do not monitor or endorse
the material on them. We cannot accept any
liability whatsoever and howsoever arising in relation
to any such other websites [including, by way of
example, any inability to access or delay in accessing
any such other website] or in relation to any material
or information appearing on them or which you may
otherwise come across after leaving our site.
8. Allocated on Arrival Bookings [AOA]
If Today We Travel Limited books an AOA for the
customer, this signifies that the accommodation name and
resort have not been specified. Facilities for AOA bookings
cannot be guaranteed unless agreed in writing by Today We
Travel Limited. Any
details in relation to the collection of keys for your
property will be set out in the accommodation voucher issued
to the customer.
9. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend you
arrange adequate holiday insurance. We recommend that
insurance should cover the cost of cancellation by you, all
medical costs and the cost of assistance including return to
the UK in the event of an accident or illness.
10. Elderly and Disabled Clients
Although Today We Travel Limited do
not specialise in accommodation for the elderly and
disabled, we can make enquiries and provide an opinion about
the suitability of particular accommodation and resorts.
Any advice given in this respect must be confirmed in
writing if special requirements form an essential part of
the booking.
11. Customer Behaviour
The booking is valid
exclusively to the lead name and number of passengers on the
accommodation voucher provided by Today We Travel Limited.
The accommodation reserves the right at any time to
terminate their stay or that of any other member of their
party due to their misconduct, where justified in their
reasonable opinion. Full cancellation charges will
then apply and no refund will be given. Furthermore, Today We Travel Limited shall be
under any obligation whatsoever to pay compensation or meet
any costs or expenses incurred as a result of your stay
being terminated. If their actions or those of any member
of their party cause damage to the accommodation in which
they are staying, they must fully reimburse the
accommodation for the cost of the damage before
they end their stay. They must also indemnify us against
any claim [including legal costs] made against us as a
result.
12. Changes to and Cancellation of the Booking by
Today We Travel
If there are any
significant changes/cancellations to the booking, we will
inform you as soon as possible. Today We Travel Limited will, however, endeavour
to offer you the following:
If a significant
change has to be made [and the change is not acceptable to
you] or your booking has to be cancelled, we will, if
possible and as soon as reasonably practical, offer you
alternative accommodation [from the range we advertise] of similar
type and standard in a similar
location for the same or similar time of year. As the
alternative accommodation is likely to be owned by a
different accommodation provider to the original
accommodation, the advertised cost of the alternative
accommodation will be payable. However, it is possible you
may be able to claim any price difference (if the
alternative accommodation is more expensive) from the
original accommodation provider. Obviously, if the
alternative accommodation is advertised at a lower price,
you will receive a refund (if you have already paid the
balance of your total holiday cost) of the price difference.
If you do not wish to accept a significant change or any
alternative accommodation offered or we cannot offer you
suitable alternative accommodation, you will receive a full
refund of all monies paid to us for the accommodation
concerned. In the unlikely event that you fail to email us
with confirmation that you wish to accept any change or
alternative accommodation within the time period we
reasonably stipulate, we are entitled to assume you wish to cancel your
booking of the accommodation concerned and receive a full
refund of all monies paid to us for it. Compensation will
not be payable where any change or cancellation results from
“force majeure” (please refer to clause 12 below) or where
you have refused, without good reason, to accept alternative
accommodation you have been offered. Please note, no
compensation is payable for minor changes. Such minor
changes do not entitle you to change to alternative
accommodation or to cancel without paying the normal charges
as set out in these conditions. A minor change is a change,
which Today We Travel could not reasonably expect
to have a significant effect on your confirmed booking.
13.
Circumstances beyond the control of Today We Travel Limited (Force Majeure)
Except where otherwise expressly stated in these conditions,
Today We Travel Limited shall not be liable, jointly or
individually, for any changes, cancellations, effect on your
holiday, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure
by Today We Travel Limited to
perform or properly perform any of their respective
obligations to you which is due to any event(s) or
circumstance(s) beyond the reasonable control of the
accommodation concerned and/or Today We Travel
Limited as applicable (referred to as ‘force majeure’ in
these conditions). By way of example, force majeure includes
fire, flood, exceptional weather conditions, epidemics,
destruction or damage of accommodation by any cause (other
than negligence) and all
similar situations. In appropriate cases (for example where
your booking has to be cancelled before departure) we will refund
to you all monies paid to us by you for the accommodation
affected.
No compensation, expenses, costs or other sums of any
description (including without limitation the cost of
securing alternative accommodation) will be payable in such
circumstances by Today
We Travel Limited.
14. If you wish to make Changes
to, or Cancel the Booking
If
you wish to change any details on the booking, after the
booking confirmation has been sent to you, Today We Travel
Limited will endeavour to assist. However,
Today We Travel Limited has no obligation to make any
change, although it will permit you on behalf of the
customer who is prevented from traveling, to transfer their
booking to someone else, provided you give us reasonable
notice of the transfer. If Today We Travel Limited is
able to make the change, we may apply an
administration charge as shown below plus any applicable
charges of the accommodation, subject to their
terms and conditions. Please note : the amendment charges
below are only valid if your booking does not require change
of hotel, apartment or villa [ie you are staying at the same
accommodation and wish to change the room type, board
basis, date, duration or number of guests]. If you
wish to change to another hotel, apartment or villa,
please call our reservations teams who will confirm the
new cost to you. This will be considered as a
cancellation and a new booking will be made. All
changes to bookings must be confirmed by email or fax to
Today We Travel Limited.

If one or more members of your party
cancel, this may mean that accommodation is under-occupied
and the price of the remaining members of the party may be
increased to reflect this. If you wish to make any change
to the booking while on holiday [e.g. upgrading
accommodation or extending your stay] all requests are
subject to availability and any extra cost must be paid
immediately.
15. Problems and Complaints
If your client has a complaint
while they are staying at the accommodation in question,
they must inform the accommodation management immediately,
in order to give them the change to resolve the problem.
Should the situation persist then contact must be made with
the local agent service whose contact details they will find
on the accommodation voucher provided by Today We Travel
Limited. If they fail to reach an agreement with either the
accommodation management or the local agent during your
stay, they may find it more difficult to negotiate an
amicable solution once they have returned home. If the
grievance is still unresolved or the clients are not happy
with the level of service provided locally, Today We Travel
Limited may be able to act in an intermediary capacity, but
will only offer to do so if you write to us within 28 days
of the final day of the clients’ stay in the accommodation.
As members of
the Travel Trust Association we must abide by their codes of
conduct. These clearly state that we are to acknowledge a
complaint within 14 days of its receipt, thereafter within
28 days to either send a full reply or a letter explaining
why we are unable to provide a full response and 56 days in
total to complete the file.
16. Room Allocation
After registration, on arrival at the accommodation, the
clients will be allocated a room. In certain cases,
your client will be asked for a refundable deposit by the
property and the client will be liable for any damages.
Customers will be requested to vacate the accommodation at
11am on the date of your departure unless otherwise stated
by the accommodation or stated on the accommodation
voucher provided by Today We Travel Limited.
17. Jurisdiction
If any part of these Booking Conditions is found to be
invalid or unenforceable, then the remainder of these
Booking Conditions will not be affected but will remain
valid and enforceable. All disputes will be governed
by English Law and are deal with in the courts of England or
Wales. |
