[refurbished in 2009] occupies a unique location alongside a
natural, sandy beach. It has a private sundeck with 500m²
overhanging the sea. This sundeck has direct access to the
clear water. The hotel is ideal for quiet and
relaxation; being in a perfectly natural environment.

Leisure facilities at the Hotel Medano include a small outdoor
swimming pool and 4 sun terraces, one of which is built on
columns over the sea, with direct access to the water. It
is also possible to try windsurfing, canoeing, and golf [charges

telephone, safety deposit box, satellite TV and full bathroom.
Some rooms do not have balconies, but the majority of rooms have

buffet. Guests can also choose the half-board option when

You can either book a twin sea view room with balcony or a twin
sea view room with window.

About Hotel Medano
El
Medano, a former fishing village, is now famous for its bay,
fringed by long. sandy beaches. These stretch south to the
Punta Roja, towered over by the Montana Roja volcano [now a
nature reserve]. The strong winds [known as alisios]
make the resort very popular with windsurfers [international
competitions are held here]. The winds are also utilised
in the Parque Eolico de Granadilla -a wind farm, supplying
electricity to over 3,000 homes.
El Medano is a typical, peaceful Spanish village where you
will find many typical Canary-style restaurants which specialise
in meat and fish dishes as well as a variety of international
restaurants, each with their own cuisine. In
the early evening, take a stroll down to the bars and terraces
which line the seafront and while away the hours chatting with
friends over a glass of sangria or a good bottle of canary wine.
