This 5 bedroom villa is
located just 20km from Lisbon, near to Costa da Caparica which
is just 5km from the villa [5 minutes drive].
Costa da Caparica tends to be a lively resort with plenty of
restaurants, bars and discos. There are tourists here as
well, but they tend to be in the minority. In
Caparica town itself the Rua do Pescadores leads from the centre
to the beach. The street is lines on both side with cafes
and restaurants with outdoor seating.
The beach itself stretches towards Lisbon and the first part of
the beach is backed by apartments and cafes. There is a
promenade with wooden shacks at intervals offering grilled
sardines, fresh fish, ice cream and drinks. You will also
find a mini-railway running during June-September the 8km or so
of dunes to Fonte da Telha.
Accommodation and Facilities:
On the ground floor are 3
double bedrooms. One of these bedrooms has patio doors to
the garden and pool area and en-suite bathroom. There is
also a further bathroom on the ground floor.
The first floor of the villa is accessed by a spiral staircase
from the lounge. Here are a further 2 bedrooms - a twin
bedroom [with single pull out bed] and another double bedroom.
Both bedrooms on this floor share a bathroom. The landing
has been converted to a games room and here you will find the
pool table.
The lounge, dining area and kitchen are located on the ground
floor. The American-style kitchen is complete with oven,
fridge, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine. The lounge
has cable TV.
Outside is the large swimming pool [10m x 5m] and the lawned
gardens which have established trees and plants. You will
also find a covered area suitable for outside dining and, of
course, a BBQ. There is an additional feature of a
tennis court and electric mobile heating.
