Ca Na Joana is a luxurious
villa designed and created as a family home by Mallorca’s top
kitchen designers. It’s in the upmarket residential area of La
Font and so is just an easy walk from Pollensa old town.
The villa is surrounded by shady terraces and well designed
gardens. Covered terraces run around two sides of the house with
a barbecue and outdoor kitchen area, and a large dining table
and chairs. The terrace behind the house leads to a large
swimming pool with roman steps. It is surrounded by lawns and a
lovely decking area. There’s also an outdoor shower cubicle by
the pool.
Inside, the house has been beautifully designed with parquet and
marble floors, which keep the rooms cool and airy even in
summer. The kitchen is in the heart of the house, combining
traditional Mallorcan design and materials with modern
technology. It has granite work surfaces and appliances
including a dishwasher, a microwave, a washing machine and an
American style fridge-freezer.
Also on the ground floor there is a dining room, a comfortable
lounge with satellite television and a DVD player/CD stereo.
There are two bedrooms on this level – a large twin bedroom and
a double room with a luxurious en-suite bathroom. There’s also
another bathroom on this floor too. There are complimentary fans
in these two bedrooms.
The first-floor rooms all have parquet floors. There are the two
air-conditioned bedrooms here – a double room and a large twin
room that share a bathroom with a wonderful walk-in shower. Also
on this upper level of the villa there are two terraces, both
with views of the Boquer mountains.
Ca Na Joana is a beautiful modern home with one of the loveliest
pools and gardens in the area. It’s also just a 15 minute walk
from Pollensa and the beaches of Puerto Pollensa and Cala St
Vicente are just a 5 minute drive away.
