Can Nico enjoys wide open views of wooded
hills and countryside. Despite a rural location it is within
easy reach of the lovely old town of Pollensa, and is only a few
hundred yards away from the famous and prestigious Pollensa
Vallori riding stables. Can Nico has been designed to be fully
accessible to wheelchair users and pushchairs.
Can Nico is down a long driveway with a sliding entry gate – a
useful safety feature for guests with young children. It’s set
in colourful and extensive landscaped gardens with lawns, rock
features and palm trees with wooded mountains beyond.
The large, L-shaped pool is fully accessible – sloping down from
a very shallow end which starts at just two inches in depth.
Around the pool there are areas for sunbathing, a poolside
shower and a long covered terrace runs along the entire
pool-side of the villa enjoying excellent views of the famous
Puig de Maria hillside and its monastery. There’s exterior
lighting here and a separate barbecue area so this is a lovely
place for spending the evenings and for eating outside.
Inside, patio doors from the terrace lead into the very
spacious, airy and uncluttered open-plan living and dining room,
with white walls, a wooden beamed ceiling and a terracotta-tiled
floor. There’s a television with several English channels and a
DVD player here too. The kitchen area is fitted with new wooden
units and is full of modern appliances including a dishwasher, a
microwave and an American style fridge-freezer.
Off this area is the master double bedroom with large fitted
wardrobes, and an en-suite shower bathroom. There are two twin
bedrooms off the living room and they share a fully accessible
bathroom with a bath and a shower.
Can Nico is ideally located in a quiet country setting that’s
only a short drive or a15 minute walk away from Pollensa’s old
town. All the rooms and the gardens, terrace and pool are on one
level and so it is fully accessible to wheelchair users.
