Accommodation and Facilities at Finca Cuxach
This beautiful old stone farmhouse is in
one of Pollensa’s most sought-after locations, La Font - midway
between Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa. The house has been
lovingly restored by the owners Cayetana and Joan and is the
ideal family hideaway. It is a peaceful and private place with
gardens and a pool. Finca Cuxach has many original Mallorcan
features such as whitewashed walls and beamed ceilings, as well
as modern facilities.
The entrance hall leads into an open-plan living and dining
room, with a traditional stone fireplace, circular mahogany
dining table and satellite television. The neat kitchen is fully
fitted and includes a microwave, a fridge-freezer and a
breakfast bar. There is also a separate laundry room with a
washing machine and ironing facilities. Also on the ground floor
are two of the bedrooms, a twin and a double, both with sunny
views of the garden. They have antique Mallorcan furniture,
terracotta-tiled floors and plenty of storage in fitted
wardrobes. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath and a
shower.
The impressive master bedroom takes up the whole of the upper
floor. It has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower,
ladies dressing room, and fine views of the gardens and pool.
The villa is set in lovely colourful gardens with views of the
Boquer mountains. In spring the gardens are full of pink scented
blossom and butterflies. And in the orchard, in summer, you can
pick oranges and lemons, cherries, avocados and kaki fruit. Palm
trees shade the extensive lawned areas around the pool. A
covered stone terrace runs along the pool-side of the house,
with garden furniture and a feature barbecue. This is the
perfect all-day place for shading from the sun and eating
outside. The pool is also floodlit at night.
Finca Cuxach is an exceptional property which combines
traditional Mallorcan style with modern design and all in
beautiful surroundings. It has central heating for early and
late-season bookings. Restaurants and shops are just a 2 minute
drive away, and the beach is just a 5 minute drive.
