Accommodation and Facilities at Finca Vensala
This is a delightful four-bedroomed finca,
looked after with love by its owners Francisca and Jaime. It’s a
peaceful and comfortable retreat surrounded by trees, and yet
the heart of the old town of Pollensa is just a fifteen-minute
walk away.
The villa is in the very popular La Font area just under the
mountains of Boquer and Puig de Maria. It’s in a very quiet
country lane well away from traffic - the lane is also dark at
night so bring a torch!
At the front and side of the house there’s a beautiful covered
terrace with a beamed roof. A deep border full of Mediterranean
and exotic plants runs along one side and there are lots more
plants in terracotta urns and planters. There’s also a covered
barbecue area here with a sink and a table.
The terrace looks out onto the private pool area which is raised
up a few steps, and a sunbathing terrace made of local Mallorcan
stone. To stay cool there is a poolside shower. Also outside,
and separate from the house, there’s a utility room with a
washing machine.
To the side of the villa there is a newly developed lawned area
ideal for the kiddies.
Inside, the villa’s rooms are spacious and comfortable with a
mixture of antique and modern furniture. They are also
air-conditioned. There’s a large kitchen with views out onto the
terrace. There’s a breakfast table here and a pantry with lots
of storage. Appliances include a dishwasher and a microwave.
There’s another dining table in the lounge, which also has
satellite television and a DVD player/CD stereo. There’s also a
wood-burning fire here for cooler evenings on early- or
late-season holidays. The bedrooms are also on the ground floor
- two twin rooms and two double rooms, sharing two full
bathrooms with baths and showers.
Finca Vensala is a comfortable and attractive villa in a really
lovely country setting. Owners Francisca and Jaime make all
their guests very welcome.
